Computational chemist with experience developing, applying state-of-the-art computational approaches and project management skills to drug discovery efforts. • Managed and guided drug discovery projects including a range of target families – GyrB/ParE, MurB, TLRs, GPCRs, Ion Channels, Kinases across therapeutic disease areas such as Inflammation, Anti-infective, CNS and Oncology. Contributed significantly to filing two IND candidates for gram negative antibiotics and systemic lupus erythematosus. Managed the CROs for leads generation. Evaluated and recommended new technologies prior to an acquisition. • Led the discovery of E3 Ubiquitin ligases, and molecular modeling of RSV. Assessed and recommended new technologies. Supported leads generation via the interactions with CROs. • Technical capabilities include DNA/RNA-protein molecular dynamics simulations, ligand-based and receptor-based drug designs using the fragment-based approach with an emphasis on the ligand-protein interactions, homology modeling where receptor structure has not been solved, de novo design to capture novel lead compounds, QSAR techniques using machine learning algorithms to predict biological activity and desired chemical properties, 3-D pharmacophore-based method to design and screen novel compounds, virtual screening, data mining, diversity/similarity analysis, computational tools development and enterprise cheminformatics. • Management skills include managing a technology start-up as the CEO, cross-functional project team leader, program management, team building, and coaching.
