ABOUT TAYLOR WALSH

I am an aspiring mental performance consultant and graduate student in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology at University of Illinois Chicago, where I am developing applied and research-based skills to help athletes and performers reach their full potential. I plan to graduate in December 2026 and am passionate about continuing to grow in the field of performance psychology through applied consulting, research, and high-performance environments.Through my experiences, I have worked with Division I athletes, youth athletes and teams, collegiate students, musicians, and other performers. My work focuses on helping individuals develop mental skills that support both performance and well-being.While much of my experience has been in sport, I am deeply interested in working with both sport and non-sport performers. The psychological skills that support peak performance—such as focus, resilience, confidence, and the ability to manage pressure—are valuable across many domains. Whether someone is competing in sport, performing on stage, pursuing academic goals, or navigating high-pressure professional environments, mental performance strategies can help individuals perform more consistently and confidently.My background in coaching, research, and athlete development has shaped my consulting approach to be collaborative, athlete-centered, and focused on supporting both performance and overall well-being.
