About Taylor Trider
Hello! My name is Taylor Trider I am a second year at Chapman University majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Law and Liberal Arts. I have always been very creative and innovative and I love creating new things and making them my own. This leads me to become very passionate about fashion and the industry. Fashion inspires me because of what it means to everyone. The way a person dresses themselves gives them an outlet to express themselves which is something so special. The fashion industry itself is something I find so intriguing as well and is what pushed me to pursue a major in business and entrepreneurship I hope to apply what I am learning about to the fashion industry. I plan on studying at a fashion school after graduating from Chapman to further my knowledge in the fashion realm and gain hands-on experience with garments. I have thoroughly enjoyed each subject I have learned about business and have gained many skills in Excel, management, accounting, communication, leadership, and most of all business law. I really took a liking to this subject which drew me to declaring a Law and Liberal Arts minor and as I continue on that track I am exploring the possibility of law school in the future as well.As for my past experience, I have gained a lot of skills from my past jobs of being a nanny of a family of four and working as a front desk attendant and child care provider at a cycling studio. Although these jobs may not seem directly related to business, working hands-on with kids has really taught me so many useful skills like communication, management, problem-solving, and working well under stress.
