Everyone can benefit from creating a financial plan. Sometimes it takes a helping hand to get there, but that’s what I’m here for. I write on Substack and am an Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) who works 1:1 with regular people to create tailored financial plans?• Just graduated and need a student-loan strategy• Getting married and want a plan you both feel good about• Growing your family and juggling new expenses/benefits• Dreaming of a home purchase, career pivot, or sabbatical and wondering, “Can we afford it?”I partner with you one-on-one to map cash flow, build debt and savings plans, and provide actionable, values-based steps that give you confidence in your financial future. ’ •. I’ve been the person asking social workers, aid offices, and housing nonprofits for answers. My focus is on supporting individuals and families who traditional financial advisors often overlook, but want professional support with their finances. •. As an AFC®, I act in your best interest. I don’t sell products or get paid by anyone except you. •. We start where you are, model tradeoffs with best-in-class tools (but explain them in plain English), and build a straightforward, values-based plan you can act on, not just to survive but to flourish. I didn’t grow up knowing anyone who used a financial planner. But I knew plenty of people who struggled with money and even more who didn’t talk about it. I started to change that, and it’s grown into a place where everyday people get straightforward help: I am always looking for collaborators and welcome reciprocal referral partnerships.
