ABOUT SAM TAYLOR

Over the last 10 years, I have been fortunate enough to have worked with a number of different clients across a variety of different projects to deliver a great outcome. My focus is primarily in Restructuring assisting clients who are experiencing stress or distress or advising creditors on their options to maximise and protect their value. I have experience working directly with corporates to advise management on their forecasts and options as well as conducting accelerated sales processes to identify new investors; and with secured creditors in preparing independent business reviews, options analysis and contingency planning. I also have broad insolvency experience from delivering a number of high profile and complex administrations, compulsory liquidations, company voluntary arrangements, creditors’ (and members’) voluntary liquidations, and fixed charge receiverships. In addition to my distressed and insolvency experience, I have also advised clients in relation to their Brexit contingency planning and insurance business transfers (Part VII); supported banks with their ring-fencing projects; provided pension schemes with advice in relation to the strength of their employer covenants; and advised a number of clients with legal entity rationalisation projects to streamline their business and eliminate surplus entities. Travelling is a passion of mine and I love being able to explore new places and learn about different cultures. My work has taken me to various places across Europe and even as far as India. Outside of work, I have spent time in Indonesia, Guatemala, Australia, Hong Kong, the USA, the Caribbean and plenty of places (but still not enough) across Europe.
