About Taylor Leick
I love finding problems that don\'t have answers. yet. As a Product Manager, I get to spend my days exploring for the biggest problems worth solving. A good problem can be uncovered though observing, experimenting, or just asking questions, but once you start problem-hunting it\'s hard to stop. Thankfully the world is full of problems that need solving, so I\'ll never run out! Once a worthy problem has been found, the crafting and delivery of a solution requires an entirely different skillset: elements of strategy, design, engineering, project management, data analysis, sales, marketing, support, finance and more must all come together in a product that solves the customer\'s need better than anything else, while being technically and financially viable. It\'s not a locked room exercise either, it requires incredible vulnerability, a team spirit, and a few publicly embarrassing situations: sort of like my improv experiences in college. Usually mid-execution, you realize you have a lot more left to learn.The continuous, virtuous cycle of exploration and execution is what I love about product management, business, and life. To learn all I can, so I can put that learning into making a tangible improvement in the lives of others is what drives me to be a better Product Manager, Husband, Father, and Friend. It doesn\'t hurt when pursuing hobbies like personal finance, home renovation, guitar, or cooking either.I\'m always looking to explore and execute with other like-minded people, so feel free to connect!
