About Taylor Knuth
As the Deputy Director at Salt Lake City Arts Council, a Division of SLC’S Economic Development Department, I work with a team of passionate professionals to support and promote the arts and culture sector in the capital city of Utah through dynamic and strategic community and economic development initiatives. I have over a decade of experience in leading and managing projects, programs, and partnerships that enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of our communities. I am also a PhD student at the University of Utah, where I am pursuing my research interests in education, culture, and society. I hold an MA in Arts Administration from Southern Utah University, with course curriculum that mirrors a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University. I am a life-long learner and a dedicated volunteer who serves on several boards and appointed commissions. I am motivated by the vision of creating a more inclusive, creative, and vibrant society through community engagement and public service.
