ABOUT TAYLOR WARD
Taylor Ward is a full-time undergraduate student at BYU Marriott School of Business, majoring in Strategy with a minor in Healthcare Leadership. He is the Administrative Intern at HCA Timpanogos Regional Hospital, working directly with the COO. Taylor, a student associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), leads as President of the BYU Healthcare Leadership Association (HLA), the university’s premier academic association for aspiring healthcare professionals. With 800+ members and 50+ leaders, HLA brings students together from diverse healthcare disciplines and is one of the fastest-growing organizations on campus. Inspired by the intense sacrifice and dedication of clinical providers, Taylor is preparing to lead hospitals with that same spirit. He is relentlessly driven by mission and focused on developing the experience, skills, vision, and expertise needed to serve as an administrator with the same standard of excellence and purpose. His work and internship experience in healthcare include- Hospital operations - Corporate supply chain strategy - Medical AI startup strategy - Ambulatory administration - Pediatric mental health & wellness - Medical coding outsourcing -* Teaching Assistant (TA)-** Research Assistant (RA)* He has worked as a Healthcare Leadership TA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supporting instruction in industry dynamics, value-based care delivery, and an executive lecture series.** As an RA for Dr. Britt Berrett, he researched dimensions of physician engagement, communication, and leadership. Taylor has also been published for his research on CSR strategy in healthcare organizations- GOALS: Taylor aims to receive a graduate education at a premier, mission-driven healthcare administration program, applying to programs in Fall 2025 to begin the following year. His sights are set on becoming an accredited Fellow of ACHE (FACHE).
