ABOUT TAYLOR HERMAN

I\'m Taylor, a passionate and experienced professional seeking new opportunities in the urban planning and community development fields. With a decade of work experience and a Masters degree in Architecture, I believe I can bring unique perspectives and skills to any organization. As a traditionally trained architect, I acquired valuable knowledge in the realm of architectural design. It was through this experience that I discovered an underlying passion for urban planning and community development. This newfound enthusiasm for creating more accessible and inclusive neighborhoods inspired me to establish my own urban planning firm, Desire Path. At Desire Path, we have focused on community-led urban planning and engagement. Starting my own business has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the industry while honing my entrepreneurial skills. I believe this experience sets me apart from other candidates, as it demonstrates my ability to take initiative, think creatively, and adapt to new challenges. In addition to running Desire Path, I have had the pleasure of working as a Community Engagement Analyst at coUrbanize and as a Neighborhood Planner at the Boston Planning & Development Agency. These roles have furthered my expertise in engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and developing innovative solutions to improve urban spaces.
