I am a proud San Diego State University graduate with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Journalism and a minor in Women\'s Studies. Currently serving as the Communications Specialist for SDSU Alumni, I play a pivotal role in storytelling and content creation to help drive alumni engagement. My experience in the marketing and communications industry has allowed me to gain knowledge in interviewing, article writing, email creation, copywriting, social media strategy, graphic design, and more. I am proficient in many media tools, such as Asana, Sprout Social, Canva, WordPress, Google Suite, and more. I thrive in fast-paced environments and bring creativity, adaptability, and collaboration to every project I undertake. I look forward to developing new ways to elevate brand communication and engage audiences through innovative digital strategies.

   Compose high-quality articles, video interviews, and compelling spotlights for distribution on SDSU Alumni\'s website, newsletter, social media channels, SDSU Newscenter, SDSU Magazine, and more- Pitch, identify, and execute pipeline-building donor stories in collaboration with University Relations and Development- Assist in creating a monthly newsletter distributed to over SDSU alumni- Manage office communications calendar, build communications timelines, and provide office-wide communications support for events, programs, and projects- Support content and posting to the SDSU Alumni social media channels and provide guidance to the SDSU Alumni marketing student assistant team- Write promotional emails, website copy, and build other marketing materials in support of SDSU Alumni events, SDSU Alumni lifetime member campaigns, and office programs as needed- Provide overall marketing and social media support to promote the PPG Alumni Center and to help achieve department goals- Work to promote SDSU\'s new platform, Aztec Network, by building marketing materials, publishing content, monitoring the platform\'s feed, and building awareness for the website- Serve as liaison between campus partners to promote alumni engagement and raise the department\'s awareness with the campus community.
