I am a professional racecar driver, motorsports team owner, lawyer, and non-profit founder, driven by a relentless work ethic and a long-term vision for building sustainable success—on and off the track.My academic background reflects that same commitment to excellence:• BBA (cum laude) in Finance & Economics• MBA in Finance & Management• Juris Doctor (JD)Immediately following my undergraduate graduation, I joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, initially as an intern to learn the legal trade from the ground up. Within days, I was promoted into Operations, where I ultimately served as Director of Operations. While working full-time, I simultaneously completed my MBA and JD, an experience that sharpened my discipline, time management, and ability to perform under pressure.During that same period, I took over ownership of my race team and made the strategic decision to relocate from Metro Detroit to Indianapolis—the heart of American motorsports. Owning and operating a race team is far more than competition; it is business development, contract negotiation, sponsorship strategy, brand management, logistics, personnel leadership, and long-term financial planning. Every result is earned through preparation, partnerships, and execution.Today, I am actively growing the team with a clear vision: to become a powerhouse organization in sprint car racing and driver development, leveraging deep industry relationships and cross-industry connections to create value for partners, sponsors, and emerging talent.Beyond motorsports and law, I am also a non-profit founder, committed to giving back and expanding access, opportunity, and education within the racing community and beyond.My strengths include strategic thinking, tenacity, partnership development, marketing and branding, B2B relationship building, sponsorship activation, and operational leadership.    The Safety Bank

   The Safety Bank, founded by professional racecar driver, team owner, and lawyer, Taylor Ferns, aims to provide adequate safety equipment to racers in need. Equipment is collected through donations from the motorsports community and leveraging connections with product suppliers and manufacturers. Similar to a Goodwill or food bank, The Safety Bank will set-up donation bins, in partnership with various sanctioning bodies and racetracks, motorsports businesses, and equipment vendors, throughout the country so drivers can recycle and repurpose new or gently used equipment. The Safety Bank team will then collect, inventory, and lead the distribution process of allocating the product to the proper home(s) based on applicant demand and current supply.Racers in need of safety equipment can apply for product via a Google form available on Safety Bank social channels. Applicants are then vetted by the Safety Bank team and, if approved, contacted to determine how we can help.The Safety Bank is a registered non-profit and is 501(c)(3) pending.
