All drawings are reviewed for accuracy. • Advised/assisted in negotiations or approval of all major estimating issues. • Maintained awareness of all business-related trends, advances and improvements and determine the economic impact of any fiscal or political activities that could affect the engineering department. • Continually strived to maintain state of the art technical knowledge of the business and refrigeration industry. • Reviewed weekly and monthly project progress and discuss any action to resolve with the respective managers/personnel. • Ensured technical designs are reviewed by the designated quality assurance person or another member of the team for accuracy and completeness. • Ensured the latest designs are available for the project and to assure that all the latest changes have been incorporated. • Developed, implemented, and update procedures and policies for the engineering department. • Established and maintained all necessary external (clients and trade) relationships, consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy, and desired image of the company.
