ABOUT CAROLE TAYLOR

Former CEO of global business consultancy Taylor McKenzie Inc, Carole serves Virginia hunt country real estate clients. Representing both buyers and sellers of some of the area’s most unique properties and farm-based businesses, Carole brings her rich business background, her marketing expertise and her knowledge of architecture and construction to her clients. With a longtime passion for historic property preservation and land conservation, she helps clients approach their purchases not only with a keen eye toward maximizing a property’s potential market value but also in preserving its character and historical value. She eagerly shares her knowledge of the hunt country luxury market and works with clients from all areas of the US and other countries.Carole served as Chair of the Land Trust of Virginia and is deeply involved in its strategy and operation. The Land Trust works with landowners wishing to conserve land and historic properties, while maintaining the viability of farm operations and other uses. She has managed the rehabilitation of several historic properties and won Leesburg VA’s award for Architectural Excellence for her rehabilitation of a historic church conversation into prime office space. She lives in an 1880’s house in Warrenton VA.Carole also serves as Senior Advisor to FOCUS, a Washington DC based investment banking firm, which provides a wide range of investment banking services tailored to the needs of emerging growth and middle market businesses.
