ABOUT TAYLOR BURNIE
Hi there, I’m Taylor! I’m an in-house legal counsel with broad experience advising across complex, regulated business environments. I’ve supported significant corporate initiatives—including an IPO—while leading and managing compliance programs across data privacy, marketing, HR, corporate, securities, sales, and finance. My practice focuses on the intersection of human rights and corporate strategy, with particular emphasis on data privacy (CIPP/E certified), ethical AI, digital accessibility, employment practices, and equity, diversity, and inclusion.Having built my career entirely in-house and drawing on prior small-business experience, I bring a pragmatic, commercially grounded approach to legal advice. I work best as a strategic partner to the business, helping organizations scale responsibly, manage risk, and align legal obligations with ethical and operational goals.I’m always happy to connect with others in the in-house, privacy, and compliance space, as well as with business leaders who care about building responsible, people-centered organizations.
