About Taylor Y.
I was born and raised in Tampa, FL, and attended the University of South Florida where I majored in English with a concentration on Professional, Writing, Rhetoric, and Technology. After graduation, I attended Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, FL, where I obtained my J.D. in 2021. While studying at Barry, I was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a recipient of the Barry University School of Law Merit Scholarship, Dean’s Award Grant, and 2020 New Lawyer Training Program Scholarship. I also volunteered my time from August 2019 to January 2022 as a Guardian Ad Litem where I worked in the \"best interest\" of abused, neglected, and abandoned children in Osceola County, Florida. Prior to passing the bar, I secured a job offer with the Ticktin Law Group (\"TTLG\") as an associate attorney. I was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in September of 2021, and officially started with TTLG the same day. While there, I managed my own case load which consisted of a variety of civil litigation matters ranging from business disputes to mortgage foreclosure. In February of 2023, I transitioned to South Florida after receiving a job offer from insurance defense firm, Shendell & Pollock, P.L. Presently, I work as an Associate Attorney for Hall, Booth, Smith, P.C, in their West Palm Beach Office where I focus my practice primarily on slip & falls, trip & falls, premises liability, and negligent security cases.
