ABOUT TAYLOR WHITE

A reformed Texan based in Missoula, Montana, Taylor writes with wild truth and a wicked sensibility about the unusual grotesque. She moved West to pursue a MFA in fiction writing from the University of Montana where she served as Fiction Editor for Cutbank Literary Magazine, Volunteer Coordinator of the Writer’s Fall Opus, and Beargrass Writing Retreat\'s Director of Marketing. Taylor remains an active member of Montana’s literary community. Taylor\'s story \"The Wilting House on the Mountain\" can be read in Duplicitous: A WriteHive Compilation, available on Amazon. Taylor developed her project management skills in law firms with high standards of product, professionalism, and confidentiality. She puts these skills to the test at Youth Homes, where she serves as Grants Manager and Development Coordinator. Prior to joining Youth Homes\' Development Team, Taylor wore many hats during her five years with Free Verse Writing Project—including Director of Development, teacher, and tutor. Taylor continues to teach with Free Verse, which brings literature, creative writing, art, play, and agency over their own narrative to incarcerated youths in juvenile halls and correctional facilities across Montana. In all her work, Taylor strives to create new opportunities to share essential voices through community collaboration, publishing, and the arts.
