About Taylor West
As a 2025 graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics, I am a M.S. in Accounting (MSA) student at the McIntire School of Commerce. I serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of my MSA class where I co-lead the Graduate Commerce Council and promote connectivity among my classmates through events outside the classroom.Following my MSA, I will begin my career at PwC working in the Private Assurance practice in New York City. I\'m currently in the process of taking my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams.My professional interests include audit and tax accounting, finance, and sports management. I am proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Outside of work and school, I am an avid hiker and runner; I\'ll be running my second marathon this fall. I also love golfing in my free time. I am a strong critical-thinker, self-starter, and team-player who always solicits input and enjoys collaborating to implement new ideas. Above all, I am dependable and passionate in my goals to deliver results for my employers and ensuring the success of my teams.
