Pricing Analyst @HD Supply

As a subsidiary of The Home Depot, HD Supply is one of North America\'s largest industrial distributors serving maintenance, repair and operations, infrastructure, power, and specialty construction customers. In the Pricing Analyst Role, my areas of ownership include, but are not limited to: • Working with stakeholders across HDS and The Home Depot to assess trends and root causes that drive pricing results, primarily focused on the organization\'s competitors • Collaborating cross-functionally to gather, compile, and transform competitive price data from available sources including SAP and Snowflake •Normalizing and analyzing complex data sets with assessment from a customer lense and industry target perspective • Utilization of SQL and Python within Snowflake to query data across numerous warehouses • Preparing reports and data analysis for key stakeholders and customers, including visual representations of the data in regard to pricing, assortment, and strategy growth projections • Assisting in the development of recommendations, based on data insights, for changes in price points to unlock price/unit elasticity • Working with cross-functional internal teams on the submission of RFP\'s for GPO\'s, Government Organizations, Housing Authorities, and Property Level Customers
