I double majored in Statistics and Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as these are the areas of study that I am passionate. I then pursued a Masters Degree in Statistics to expand my statistical \"toolkit\" by gaining a deeper understanding of traditional modeling methods while also exploring machine learning techniques. Alongside my academic background, working for State Farm provided me the opportunity to not only learn how to best apply these methods to real world data and problems but also how to best communicate results and recommendations to an array of audiences.
