Supporting US Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL)• Client-facing role in support of Research Innovation Center’s business challenges and goals.• Facilitate external business development support and activities to increase funds-in to the lab.• Perform systems design and implementation to improve the data lifecycle used in generating better business understanding to support NETL leadership in decision-making.Accomplishments-In 2019 I played a pivotal role in establishing a process to select the best new competencies to invest in (Competencies Assessment & Business Case Value Propositions)-In 2020 facilitated go-to-market planning for the selected \"Key Laboratory Initiatives\" and led the development, implementation and adoption of a SharePoint-based CRM-like \"Business Capture Tool\" to capture performance metrics for nearly 100 users-I have supported the ongoing strategy, operations and communications of the Key Lab Initiatives since their inception and as of April 2024 they have brought in nearly $50M of additional funding to NETL-In 2024, the Key Lab Initiatives are serving as an example of processes to be expanded to the entire Research Innovation Center known as \"Competency Growth Initiatives\". Additionally, the Business Capture Tool is serving as an example of processes for the implementation of more robust CRM tool (Salesforce) to be used lab-wide (nearly users)
