About Taylor Roberts

Taylor Roberts (she/they) is a passionate advocate for diversifying participation in the arts, specifically for marginalized artists and arts administrators, and in museum intellectual leadership positions. Taylor is graduate of Oglethorpe University, receiving a B.A. in Art History and Nonprofit Management. During her collegiate career, Taylor was a 20••••20 Undergraduate Mellon Curatorial Fellow at the High Museum of Art, an Exhibitions Intern at the Oglethorpe Museum of Art, and a DEIA Programming Intern at the Historic Oakland Foundation. Additionally, Taylor served as the President of Oglethorpe University’s Student Government Association, was an Arts Administrators of Color mentee, and a member of the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art Advisory Board and Diversity Committee. As a Lead For America Fellow at 3Arts in Chicago, Taylor worked to expand financial and professional development opportunities for artists of color, women artists, and Deaf and disabled artists in efforts to diversify the field and art historical representations of marginalized groups. Taylor continues to do this work as the Social Media Coordinator at 3Arts, broadening awareness of 3Arts\' grants and programming. In her freelance curatorial and arts administration work, Taylor\'s interests include social justice, cultural competence, and creating a more just society for all of us by providing access to opportunities, resources, and education in the arts.
