About Taylor Ogunleye

Taylor Ogunleye is an efficient, detailed-oriented, and compassionate young professional who has held various roles in the hospitality industry over the past 10 years. She balanced full-time school with work throughout her undergraduate college career. In her early days at college, Taylor was a Server, Hostess, and Assistant Manager of local fast casual and family dining restaurants. Her hospitality career began as a Front Desk Agent with The Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, a PCH Hotels & Resorts property. She was then promoted to Group Housing Coordinator with responsibilities in managing rooms only groups, assisting the sales team, and bits of event management and revenue management. She was then promoted to Recreation Manager upon graduation with responsibilities including supervising team of Recreation Attendants, planning events for the Resort, and enhancing the guest experience with added value activities. She was the Front Desk Manager at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center for about one year. She oversaw a team of Guest Service Agents and Supervisors and was ultimately responsible for the entire Front Desk operation of the Hotel. Taylor was the Rooms Inventory Manager at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, where she exercised knowledge gained during Auburn University coursework from her hospitality classes, the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), and industry experience thus far. Most recently, Taylor took on the Recreation Manager role again, one she was familiar with based on previous experience, at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, where she led a team of Recreation Attendants and Recreation Supervisors. Taylor most recently was a Client Success Associate for RealTime Reservation where she uses her experience to help hospitality operations grow revenue and enhance the guest experience. Taylor graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management degree with a minor in Business Administration in 2020, and completed her M.S. in Hospitality Management at Auburn University in 2025. She is presently a lecturer in the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management. Taylor has earned the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), as previously mentioned, successfully completed her Introductory Sommelier course through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and has competed to participate in Auburn University’s Annual Epicurean Tour of Northern California.
