About Taylor Larocca
Hi there! My name is Taylor and I am a passionate and driven individual who is excited to start their career in the tech industry. I am pursuing a Business Administration degree at San Jose State University, graduating in Spring 2025. Previously I was a Talent Acquisition Operations Intern at NetApp where I was gaining valuable experience in the TA field. While being in college, I have been in Alpha Phi Fraternity since Fall 2021. I have served on the executive board for almost two years, previously Vice President of New Member Education and Member Experience to Executive Administrator. I have been able to develop a strong foundation in business principles that I can apply to the real world from my past experiences. Leadership is a crucial attribute that I continually strive to expand and grow. I have come to realize that taking initiative, collaborating as a team, and expressing your ideas and opinions are essential in the business world. In addition to my academic and internship experiences, I have also gained valuable insight and skills in the weddings and event industry. Alongside my role at NetApp, I work as a freelance Event Assistant for Bay Area planners. The hands-on involvement and the fast-pace environment has given me organizational abilities, troubleshooting skills, and a strong attention to detail. Beyond my event experience, I am outgoing and customer service-oriented. I genuinely enjoy interacting with people and believe in fostering long-term relationships to expand my network with internal and external stakeholders.
