About Taylor Hart
Hi! I\'m Taylor. I am a fourth year Earth System Science student at UC Irvine, specializing in oceanography and minoring in biological sciences. I am an undergraduate researcher in the Druffel Lab at UCI, working on my honors senior thesis on organic carbon cycling in Santa Clara River particulate matter.I am also a 2024 NOAA Hollings Scholar. I conducted independent research studying harmful algal distributions along the US West Coast at the NOAA Hollings Marine Lab in South Carolina.I have just returned from studying abroad in Australia at the University of Queensland studying marine biology and terrestrial ecology. My interests include global ecology and conservation, marine biology, and community education and outreach.
