My passion lies within marketing and communications, but my journey to finding this path has been unique, to say the least. With a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, my career began in the realm of science. However, I soon discovered my desire to teach and became a certified educator, inspiring young minds with the wonders of science. This experience allowed me to develop valuable skills in communication and creativity, but left me feeling as though it wasn’t my true calling. My transition into the medical staffing industry began when I joined a travel nursing agency as a recruiter, where I honed my ability to identify talent and connect with candidates. Over time, my interests shifted toward marketing, leading me to my role as an Inbound Marketing Specialist and eventually to the team\'s Senior Digital Marketing Specialist. For over two years, I focused on reaching new talent through job boards, marketing strategies, and networking events. I furthered my marketing and communications path by joining a company in the oil and gas industry, who took a chance on me while I was still relatively new to marketing and communications, and certainly new to the world of oil and gas. This position has solidified my love of learning, growing, and structured creativity. Now, my career goals are firmly centered around leveraging my marketing and communications expertise to make a meaningful impact in various industries.
