ABOUT TAYLOR COMFORD CERT-CMFA

I am a Physical Therapist located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am currently the only PT Board Certified in Orthopedics and Sports rehabilitation in East Tennessee. Currently I own and Operate Onward Physical Therapy in Knoxville Tennessee. This is a cash based physical therapy clinic designed for the active individual, or those who wish to become active. It is an affordable healthcare option brought to our community to ensure high quality one-on-one, individualized care. Additionally in the role as current Director of Sports Medicine at TripleF Sports Performance in Knoxville Tennessee where we specialize in youth development by day, and run an Offensive line training camp transitioning athletes from college into the NFL For the past 3-5 years I had been a part of Upstream Rehabilitation\'s Sports Residency Faculty, with teaching emphasis in the Lower Extremity, Running analysis, and strength and conditioning with emphasis in compound movements in rehabilitation. I currently serve on faculty with South College DPT program, assisting with Health Promotions and MSK 2 (Lower extremity, and with Lincoln Memorial University working in a sports PT elective and advanced clinical reasoning coursework. In my career I have worked 5+ years with our local SPHL professional hockey team: Knoxville Ice Bears. I have also led the medical team for the CrossFit games semi finals Mid Atlantic Crossfit Challenge and Syndicate Crowne. USA Weightlifting and USA Badminton Medical team. My passion is with the overhead athlete, baseball player specifically, and have had the pleasure of consulting with the Boston Red Sox and Los Angelas Dodgers as well as some local clubs.
