As I embark on a new chapter with Azenta Life Sciences as a Software Quality Engineer, I am thrilled to bring my diverse background and experiences to the forefront of technology innovation. With over 3 years of experience in healthcare management and a dedicated role in the National Guard, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of technology on both the healthcare industry and the military. This exposure sparked a keen interest in exploring the multifaceted world of technology. During my time as a Combat Engineer in the National Guard, I served as a specialized engineering professional, contributing to various projects that demanded intricate problem-solving and technical skills.During the pursuit of my optician license, I embarked on a journey to learn programming through platforms like Codecademy, YouTube, and freeCodeCamp. What began as a side interest swiftly transformed into an insatiable passion for programming and the assimilation of cutting-edge technologies. This fervor for learning drove me to transition into the realm of Software Development and Engineering, prompting my enrollment in Code Platoon—a prestigious coding bootcamp renowned for its support of veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.Shortly after graduating from Code Platoon, I began meticulously honing my skills as an Automation Engineer at Axuall, Inc. The experiences garnered in this role further solidified my love for working with technology. While I cherished my responsibilities at Axuall, they led me to introspect on my journey and ignited a desire to extend a helping hand to fellow veterans and transitioning service members.
