About Taylor Beaman
I am a graduate of the Quantitative Biology program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I primarily focused on the use of mathematical, statistical and computational techniques to study life and living organisms. I have also completed a neuroscience and chemistry minor. I have 2 years of undergraduate lab experience. Previously, I worked as a teaching assistant under Dr, Gidi Shemer in Anatomy and Physiology, while also working as a medical scribe at Avance Primary Care. Now I am working full time as the lead medical assistant for Avance primary care where I assist providers with routine and urgent patient care. Moving forward, I am always looking to explore any opportunities to gain clinical exposure and better prepare myself for a career in healthcare.
