   The Community Relations Intern is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of community relations programs and tasks. Assist in the communication, tracking, and execution of initiatives.Responsibilities- Assisting with community events and corporate campaigns- Assisting with the research on different projects and events- Assisting with communication for internal staff at LMCU- Assisting in the coordination of volunteer events- Networking on behalf of LMCU- Other duties as assigned.Knowledge Needed- Proficiency with using the Microsoft Office Suite- Enjoyment working independently, but likes being apart of a team- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time and is very detail-oriented.This position gives me the opportunity to work with the corporate team responsible for driving impactful volunteer events, promoting sports sponsorships, and managing scholarships for high school students. I will assist in crafting community materials, creating engaging content, and sharing event updates across the company to inspire participation. The role includes contributing to the development of company-wide newsletters, impact statements, and campaigns that highlight the organization\'s community engagement initiatives. This position provides hands-on experience in fostering meaningful connections and showcasing the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility.
