My current role has provided deeper insight to the genesis of FTZs prior to daily operations; Feasibility Reports conducted for importers interested in obtaining the benefits of FTZs, the application process to the Board, the role of grantees and understanding a successful activation with Customs. Along with enhancing my knowledge, I oversee a dedicated team who assists with the daily FTZ operations for various clients. Concurrently, I monitor the CSMS, attend ICPAs periodically, review Title 19 Code of Federal Regulations, The Federal Register, ICRS processes and The Foreign Trade Zone Manual.
