As a lifeguard at Life Time Fitness, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all members and guests in and around the pool area. Through this role, I have received certified training in CPR, first aid, and spinal injury management. I’ve gained hands-on experience in emergency response, including providing immediate care and supporting safety protocols during critical situations. I also assist with swim tests, helping evaluate swimming ability and promote water safety across all age groups. This role has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and respond quickly and confidently in high-stakes situations. I am grateful to have this position prior to my matriculation into medical school in the fall.
