I always got the \"Chatty Cathy\", or \"needs to talk to her friends less and focus more\" on my elementary school report cards. No surprise that I found my home in development! I have to say, although it might\'ve caused my teachers some strife, that sociable behavior transitioned pretty well to my career. Plans change as they have a way of doing and while I graduated from the University of Kansas with degree in Sports Management, I ended up working outside of sports. My time with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce gave me a love and passion for non-profit work, which has inevitably defined my career path. I\'m able to use my outgoing personality to make valuable connections between people and initiatives. I consider myself a very driven and dedicated professional with a passion to inspire positive change by investing in people and relationships. Through my career, I\'ve gained experience in relationship building and partnership management.
