ABOUT TAWHID ISLAM

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with an international advisory firm and spent eight years working across various service lines and honing my skills in audit and assurance, forensic assignments, transaction services and tax structuring which culminated in being transferred overseas to the Hong Kong / China Offices working on assignments as diverse as advising on initial public offerings (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange, cross border transactional and taxation work with FT500 companies spanning Brazil, China, France, Singapore, Vietnam and UK markets, corporate advisory and reporting for Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listed companies and public interest forensic assignments. I also acted as an economic and IPO analyst for the Hong Kong office of Mazars CPA and had a number of articles published in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. I now run my own firm, Islam & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors who specialise in advising small and medium enterprises (SMEs). I utilise my large corporate background in advising SMEs and have a diverse client portfolio which includes working with both developing and mature businesses focussing on growth strategies or restructuring, advising SMEs on setting up in overseas markets and trading internationally, forensic assignments, tax planning and structuring (personal / company / international tax) and transaction services for SMEs.
