Educate students remotely via CIMA and create an environment in the physical classroom and salon floor that is both challenging and conducive to a positive learning experience; prepare class materials prior to class; teach assigned classes and help students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content; teach standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the profession; assess individual student’s learning skill problems, prescribe appropriate skill development activities and provide assistance to students who are not meeting their full potential with the course; recommend materials and resources that provide instructional skills; strive to learn new subjects to aide me in educating my students; demonstrate effective presentation skills, questioning skills and techniques; respond appropriately to student’s needs for clarification or feedback; provide positive reinforcement and motivational incentives; use instructional tools, methods and media effectively; evaluate the instructional design and modify, if needed, during delivery; monitor student’s progress and assess what is needed for improvement; complete reporting documentation accurately and submit it on a timely basis.
