our Power Loan Fund Project Steward

I support the Our Power Loan Fund by doing project accompaniment and training and education around finance and the Just Transition Framework.As a Project Steward, I support projects through the intake process, business planning and financial projections, as well as evaluating if their projects are sustainable enough to receive a loan from our loan fund, or need some support with our technical assistance grants, or both. I support projects figuring out how to create revenue streams within their models that are supporting community-run wealth and within social enterprises that are within a just transition framework (i.e. moving from extractive to regenerative and sustainable economy). There\'s a focus on democratically run as well as coopertative business models. I\'ve also created a focus area in financing and scaling up multi-stakeholder, complex projects such as resiliency hubs or community resource hubs, exploring models of collective ownership and creating ecosystems of material support and communithy care.
