http://tavetgillson.com/Tavet Gillson is a New York City-born and based designer and animator whose art-directorial work includes TV spots for MTV, ESPN and HBO. Tavet has storyboarded award-winning music videos for Primus, J-Dilla, My Morning Jacket and Pinback. His short comedy \"PLACENTA\" screened at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2019 and his visual art collaboration with artist Dréya St. Clair is in the permanent collection of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art in SoHo. His art appears in the books Pure Animation and Digital Art Revolution. His comedy has been featured in the Huffington Post and The New York Times.Tavet’s work is informed by NYC fashion and street culture, humor, art history and a sense of playful interdisciplinarity and Photoshop wizardry. With almost 20 years of professional design and animation experience at major NY studios, he brings a full range of communication and directorial skills to any creative task.

   Lead Compositor/VFX on animations for McDonald\'s, Seamless, Krystexxa, Salesforce, Tractor. Created complex 2D and 2.5D comps for cel animation. Coordinated workflow between animation and compositing teams. Worked with producers to create schedules and manage After Effects production pipeline. Created background artwork, graphic design, supplemental animation and motion graphics. Developed novel 2.5D techniques in After Effects to meet the demands of each project
