ABOUT TAUSEEF ASAD
I’m a 4th-year Computer Science student with a strong interest in finance. I\'m currently pursuing a minor in Finance to complement my technical background and deepen my understanding of financial systems, markets, and decision-making. This summer, I’m working as a Distribution Planning Intern at IG Wealth Management, where I’m gaining valuable exposure to the financial industry and applying my data and technology skills in a new and impactful context. Previously, I worked as an IT Auditor at Metrolinx, focusing on audit compliance and regulatory controls. Prior to that, I was a Business Analyst with the Government of Ontario, where I supported identity and access management initiatives and contributed to broader digital transformation efforts. What draws me to finance is its dynamic, data-driven nature and the opportunity to make informed, high-impact decisions. With a background in technology, I believe I bring a unique perspective to the field—one that blends analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a drive to use data in meaningful ways.
