Universal Service Administrative Co.(USAC) • Workstream lead for the Payment Quality Assurance (PQA) Assessment for High Cost funds. • Managed a team of 14 junior level associates and subcontractors. • Provided weekly status updates to USAC High Cost program management. • Coordinated outreach with High Cost fund program recipients and stakeholders. California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) • Serve as an Engagement Manager for the internal controls workstream in the program integrity assessment for the 1.2 billion dollars California Mortgage Relief Program (CalMRP). • Led project team in the review of policy and procedures documents to ensure that the program has effective internal controls established to prevent mismanagement of government funds. • Meet with CalHFA stakeholders to conduct interview walkthroughs to document gaps in the policy and procedures for CalMRP. • Develop an inventory of controls that will be used to create test scripts for the program. Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) • Manage a project team of 10 employees at the Associate and Senior Associate level ensuring that CMS comply with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 (PIIA) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123, Appendix C for the Health Insurance Exchanges and related programs. • Conduct improper payments risk assessments and measurements for the Exchanges. • Serve as a career coach to Grant Thornton employees at the Associate and Senior Associate level. • Act as a recruiting liaison for future employment candidates by conducting interview screenings. • Led business development initiatives to be award federal government contracts.
