About Tatum Erwin
My passions lie in ensuring people of all walks of life are included and do not face inequality in civic, economic, and social ways. I have recently graduated with my BA in Global Studies, as well as a minor in Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership, from Arizona State University, and will continue my education at ASU. I am currently completing my Master’s of Political Science, with a focus in Comparative Politics. I hope that my future career and education goals will set me up for a life of policy work and change. My research primarily aims to include women in the conversation of rights and opportunities in low-income countries. Specifically, I engage with gender based violence in conflict zones, and how aid can be used to ensure and provide helpful initiatives and changes to this narrative.
