ABOUT TATJANA MISULIC

I am a finance attorney and trusted advisor with more than two decades of experience serving financial institutions, municipalities and investors on complex financings for varied projects that benefit communities - airports, toll roads, hospitals, universities, convention centers, housing projects, water and wastewater facilities, among others. In my role at Fannie Mae as Deputy General Counsel I honed my expertise in municipal bonds in the affordable housing finance setting. During my tenure, I led the multifamily affordable housing legal team, collaborated with clients to create novel financing structures facilitating impactful housing solutions. and spearheaded initiatives, such as the development of a bond forbearance program and the publication of bond chapters in the DUS Guide, which demonstrated my capacity for innovation and practical problem-solving. I am sought out by clients for pragmatic and creative solutions, and thoughtful advice. I am also skilled at distilling intricate finance mechanisms and complex issues into clear, actionable concepts. I have a love of writing and teaching, and can\'t resist anything that looks like a process improvement project -)My dedication to public finance is not just a profession; it\'s a passion that aligns with my values of the importance of public service, and fostering accessible housing solutions and sustainable development.
