ABOUT TATJANA BUISSON
Born and raised in South Africa to French and German parents. I have been based in France for over 11 years. The formative years of my career were spent working in advertising in Johannesburg and Barcelona and later went off on my own steam as a freelance Graphic Designer. In 2011 I jumped into entrepreneurship and brought my creation, Postick, and my Illustrations to life via a Kickstarter campaign. The eventual pivot lead me to art. At first via my illustrations which were reproduced and sold internationally and ultimately though oil pain ing, ink and watercolour. I\'ve been painting in oils since 2019 and it brings me immense joy. My current focus is on working with UN Women\'s team that\'s working on the \"Making Migration Safe for Women\" project Ethiopia and South Africa. The work is interesting, meaningful and ticks all the boxes around the various spheres I like to work in: graphic design, illustration, photography and concept-generation. The painting has taken a bit of a back seat in 2024 and in 2025 I will find more balance between the digital and the oils. Watch this space.
