About Tatiana S.

Growing up, my family and I moved over 13 times. Unfortunately being \"new girl\" isn\'t the title you want to have in high school. I ended up facing so much adversity and challenges with mental health throughout my teenage years, but on the positive side you end up connecting with people from all walks of life. I became extremely adaptable, developed strong interpersonal skills and empathy for others, but also became very curious to understand the world and others better. After graduating from Purdue University I started my career in sales where I excelled as a empathetic human and my interpersonal skills shined, but as a sales rep you also are responsible for executing marketing initiatives, trainings, and utilizing marketing resources to help your company achieve their goals. My curiosity grew and I constantly would question our marketing initiatives and recommend changes to improve inefficiencies. As I continued my career in sales, I began taking on additional projects and responsibilities, but knew my skill set would be best suited in driving change through ingenious marketing project, programs and processes. I took a leap of faith and left sales for a marketing role. In my role I continue to be curious, I strive for change through innovation and analytics. I love brainstorming up new projects improve our marketing programs, while also addressing inefficiencies through cross team processes. My curiosity for the world grew outside of my career and I began to solo travel the world, but also I started to help others who experienced the same challenges as myself growing up. I continue to be a mental health advocate and drive change to normalize that it is \"okay to not be okay.\" I help start my previous company’s mental health employee resource group, C.A.R.E (Caring Across Real Experiences) while also becoming a patient ambassador for an organization outside of work.
