That mindset shapes my work today as I bring the expertise of an actuarial consulting firm to financial advisors, accountants, and lawyers.One memory that anchors this for me comes from high school. I was the math nerd in my grade, and a friend came to me in distress—he was struggling to understand a key concept just 30 minutes before a big exam. I walked him through it, and he got it. As small as it may seem, 17-year-old me felt something wonderful: the joy of using what I knew to help someone else succeed.That’s become my career mission. I want to gain expertise in something, then serve others in a way that lets them leverage it for their own benefit. To me, that’s doing something great.Today, I’m fortunate to have deep expertise in the interesting world of actuarial science and all the valuable things actuaries can do.
