About Tate Clemen
Tate is a strategist and analyst focused on the intersection of art, technology, and society, developing data and insight-driven commercial strategies for the creative and innovation markets.Currently, Tate is based in Los Angeles working on the Go-to-Market Strategy team for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In this role, he focuses on developing BCG\'s functional strategy using advanced analytics and analysis to track macro-trend and market shifts to better understand industry trends and client demands. In his previous roles at BCG, Tate led capacity analysis and pyramid planning within BCG X\'s Global Finance team and ran global people analytics for BCG Digital Ventures.Previously, Tate worked as a Business Transformation Coordinator at Intouch Group, driving large-scale change management efforts through the design and implementation of internal strategy & operations models, process design & innovation, policy & procedure authoring, and portfolio consulting creating sustainable, scalable growth across the organization. In his tenure, the BT team helped scale Intouch from 1 to 8 affiliate agencies, 700 to 1,300 employees, and yearly revenue from $170MM to $260MM. In 2021, Intouch was acquired by EVERSANA for $950MM. Academically, Tate holds his MS in Analytics from Georgia Tech, where his studies focused on the use of data and analytics to develop commercial strategies around emerging technology, trends, and markets. Also a graduate of Drake University, Tate holds his BSBA in Economics & Finance and BA in Theatre. His business studies focused on investment analytics and asset management, and his theatre studies focused on classical performance with an emphasis on Shakespeare. Tate also spent time studying classical and contemporary acting and movement in London, England at the Theatre Academy London alongside their partners from Shakespeare’s Globe, the National Theatre, and Complicité, among others.Outside of work, Tate leads the World Economic Forum\'s LA Global Shapers Hub as the Curator. He\'s also an avid boulderer; theatre practitioner; bourbon enthusiast; negroni snob; and a lover of all things food, drink, and travel, having traveled to 20 countries across 3 continents.
