ABOUT TATE HINKLE
I am a family physician in rural Alabama with a passion for health policy especially as it relates to rural healthcare, medical education, quality and value-based care, and the use of data to improve care. I am currently on a journey to help reinvent healthcare in rural America and my home state of Alabama through helping practices, rural hospitals, RHCs, and FQHCs navigate the transition to value-based care. I am also a hospice medical director and have an interest in end of life and palliative care as I see it integral to quality healthcare delivery. I have wide-ranging experiences in national, state and local organized medicine that gives me a broad view of the challenges of healthcare at all levels. I seek opportunities to bring my perspective and experiences of healthcare and health policy to improve care delivery and medical education to achieve equitable and quality outcomes for communities.
