Jacobi Children’s Health Clinic is a vital part of the community and provides pediatric and subspecialty care, with over visits per year. Our Pediatric Emergency services recorded nearly visits last year. Jacobi is the only Pediatric Level 2 Trauma center in the Bronx, making it one of the busiest Emergency Departments in New York City. The Department of Pediatrics at Jacobi has cared for an economically and culturally diverse patient population and is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research. Department is committed to providing a collegial and supportive environment in which residents thrive. I have learned following under the care of great pediatric team:1. Provide primary and preventive care to pediatric patients from birth to adolescence.2. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illness.3. Monitors growth and developmental milestones. 4.Counsel parents on nutrition, behavior and child safety. Experienced in EPIC EMR.

Empathetic and dedicated pediatric resident with hands- on experience in primary care, diagnosing and treating diverse pediatric conditions and conducting well child visits. The phenomenal growth of the children from birth to 18 years always fascinate me. The physical, cognitive and emotional development which occur during this periods are the most precious and valuable chapters of life. I would like to make a positive impact during this time period. After residency, I would like to be a primary care physician. This will allow me to interact with the patient in a consistent manner. As a person, whatever the gravity of the work is, I always render my duty with sincerity and punctuality. I would like to focus on preventive care, physical and mental development and take care of parent’s concerns as a general pediatrician.
