About Tasneem A.
Being the kind of person who thrives on challenging tasks and is always eager to learn made me consider a career in Finance. With my consistency, deliberative, and analytical Clifton strengths, I plan to land an internship that’s relevant to my finance major to help me gain experience in a real-world business setting. Prior to my student career and even during, I have pursued work within my community by volunteering for over two years, providing efficient customer service to customers for over two years, and participating in a TRIO program since high school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to build networks, become a better student and passionate individual overall. I\'m currently advancing my Microsoft Excel skills through Wallstreet Prep. I completed a Fall 2022 Leadership Development internship program where I learned different marketing strategies while also assessing growth and performance to improve by designing new growth strategies using my attention to detail skills. I recently completed a Supervision and Risk Management internship program at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where I gained substantial knowledge about how a bank operates behind the scenes. Additionally, I’ve gained leadership experience working in retail and currently as a medication aid at a health facility where I’m certified in administering medications to patients. With my current job, I’ve learned a lot about being a team player and leading by guiding and training my colleagues. With all these opportunities, I have gained valuable experience by being a leader, building networks, utilizing different marketing strategies and overall having the sense of curiosity to continue to learn. I believe that if I put my skills and experience to the test, I’ll make an impact at any company and develop as a young professional.
