I am currently a CDC Research Epidemiologist working in applied epidemiology research at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Division of Safety Research (Surveillance and Field Investigations Branch-Special Studies Team). DSR conducts research to reduce a wide variety of occupational safety hazards. DSR is the focal point for traumatic injury research at NIOSH. Research within the Division seeks to identify, reduce, and prevent work-related injuries and deaths across all industries. I predominantly focus on firefighting.
