ABOUT TASHA M. CHILDS
Tasha M. Childs (Henderson), PhD, MSW, LMSW is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Missouri. Tasha\'s primary research interests are racial inequity in schools, teacher racial bias, and school social work. Her secondary research interests include child and adolescent mental health. Tasha works on research projects which include intervention development, facilitating group interventions and evaluating interdisciplinary education. In addition to her academic work, she serves as the Interior Board Representative for NASW Alaska and the Past-President of the Ohio State University College of Social Work Alumni Society Board.
