ABOUT TASFIQUR ROB
A Muslim Bangladeshi American studying Computer Science and Political Science at Case Western Reserve University. Rob was born in Dhaka and grew up in the Bronx, New York.Rob\'s passion lies in helping people and bringing real change. Believing in long-term solutions, not short-term ones, and quality over sole quantity. He worked for many years with digital marketing agencies and content creators before eventually starting Purnota Foundation in 2019 with the aspiration of helping underprivileged families achieve a higher standard of living and stand with them in times of need, such as harsh winters and disasters such as cyclones and floods. Since moving back to the USA for his undergraduate degree, Rob has stayed involved with the Purnota Foundation while involving himself in US politics and other activities. This journey has led to him being involved in managing $3.1 Million yearly budget for his university, coordinating volunteering opportunities and fundraising with US Congressman and Senators during his time with Ohio College Republicans Federation, and travelling with the Model UN team to represent Case Western Reserve.As a senior, Rob is currently seeking opportunities in CS and Political fields where he can use his plethora of skills and balanced technological and leadership experience to make a difference.
